Telling you that you're wrong is not an insult. Calling me a goon is. I don't know why this is so hard to understand.

You have a very warped view of reality if you truly believe that every single DPS just follows. And that the tank and healer alone set the pace. It's honestly quite narcissistic to think that. If the group wants to go at a faster pace, tanks, in the large majority of situations, go at that faster pace. I have also seen DPS pull extra sets of mobs, once, then the tank reacts and does larger pull thereafter. Hmm, that's a DPS setting the pace.

So, no, you don't get the unquestioned power about pace. The group does. Not you.

If you pull it, you tank it. This has been a reality for many, many years. DPS does not have the right to pull. Now, the healer? Yes. If the healer demands a higher pace, then forward march. (Not that this is an issue for me, as I've already addressed this.) Again, you are simply denying reality about how the roles work. DPS who pull get to tank what they spank, and you rarely find a tank or healer that doesn't agree with this same sentiment.

If the DPS have the opportunity to pull ahead, you're skimping out on your role. If you let the DPS tank it, they're probably just going to kick you at the first opportunity (and they just need the other DPS to agree). And need I remind you that with everyone and their grandma leveling up Gunbreaker, there's no shortage or wait time for a new tank to join.

"You pull it, you tank it" is the last thing tanks usually say when I start a vote kick.

Good. Better leave such a group stew in the dungeon and have the tank get a instaqueue with a hopefully more competent party.
Saves him/her the trouble to leave and receive a deserter cooldown.

Currently, Healer is the "insta-queue". Not like I've ever had to wait long for a tank anyways.

As always with expansions. But once a few more weeks passed, it's all back to tank AIN's again.

I mean this is true. Personally speaking though, as I've explained before in other threads (before ShB release) - I would rather no tank, then a bad one.

I can do dungeon without a tank as long as people are overgeared, which is usually the case. I mained AST in SB, so I would rather not have to deal with tanks deciding not take aggro from me since if a DPS pulls, I would eventually get the aggro as the healer.

I'm more then happy to lose a bad tank, and wait for a decent one. Run speed doesn't matter, which was never the case. It was the principle.

I've also never had issues getting another tank into a run, and at worst would only have to wait a few minutes. Even if said tank got an insta-queue - that's not something I care about either. I just didn't want to deal with them.
