Anyone else notice a lot of the Sin Eater abilities are named after torture devices?

I've seen moves like scavengers daughter, brazen bull, breaking wheel, thumbscrew, intestinal crank, heretic's fork, and probably a few others.

I actually never caught that, but it makes a lot of sense. Some brief research on the Scavenger's Daughter highlights that its use was limited, but it's association with Henry VIII and his successor Elizabeth I (who was known for her persecution of Protestants in her devout Catholicism) would indicate that these abilities themselves were conceptualized with the destruction of opposing ideals and faiths in mind.

In other words KILL THE HERETICS.

    Spoiler:
Also look up the Spanish Tickler, which is the base of inspiration for Tesleen's "The Tickler" tankbuster.

This is interesting and something I didn't know but I will be dead honest and say that I'm only replying because I want to tell you how much I love that forum signature, nearly spit water.
