DRG Dragon Sight needs buff/ Stardiver needs Graphical buff

Tbh the real problem is he’s comparing Two jobs with 4K difference in dps currently.

You can’t equal a dancers utility with 4K personal dps above dancer.

Dragoons are no longer a “utility” role we are just ment to have some utility we can use. (IMHO likely still too much for the dps we are doing)

Dragoon likely needs some nerfs giving them buffs would be ridiculous

Dnc has an attack buff that increases 5% for 1 min with a 1.5s recast
While DRG Dragon Sight buffs attack by, 10% on Caster and 5% on partner, for 20s with a 120s recast and limited by distance of 12y during use.

Dragon Sight needs to last longer to make it worth the use compared to the dnc.

Stardiver comes out quick and hits like a normal jump that can only be used every 60s if you can get Life of the Dragon up. It needs to have the same impact feel as Dragonfire Dive.
Damage wise for now it's weak it deals about the same damage as the Dragonfire Dive.

Between StB and ShB, dragoons were mostly untouched, with a few additions, and I'd like to keep it that way. The only buff I could vaguely see is life surge forcing a critical hit from stardiver. But even that's a real stretch because it would just be stupid to have an AoE attack that does the same damage as full thrust. It's already crazy enough that life surge works with coerthan thrust.

I can't really see that happening, both because it would require you to double weave it with a jump skill, and because they just removed Life Surge's equivalent for jumps an expansion ago.

No, Dragoon is bonkers. It needs nerfs, not buffs.

Took me a bit to get my DNC up.
Ya no I'm doing more dmg and more sustained dmg as dnc then drg.
DD's don't fight for dmg based on what role they are. All DD's fight for the 2nd or 3rd spot equally.

That you do better on DNC is your own personal issue.

What everyone is implicitly referring to are the Ex Primal statistics, here: https://www.fflogs.com/zone/statistics/28/.

And DNC is dead last for personal DPS, while DRG is miles ahead and in a really good spot in ShB (considering they bring buffs unlike the top rankings).

I love DRG the way it is right now but if it does receive nerfs in the future, they won't be horrible.
