Lost access to Shadowbringers

Hello, I preordered ShB and have been playing it since early access.

However, now it says I am not registered anymore, so my level 71 character can't log in....even though I'm holding a receipt for my preorder from Gamestop.

Mog Station says I don't have the expansion for some reason (not sure why, since I tied it to my PSN and it's let me play fine until now) but I've got an 18 digit one on my receipt and another one in email that's only 12 or and neither let me register it again...... Am I missing something? How can i retreive the code they want? Did I miss something?

Did you purchase a physical copy of the game from GameStop? If so, there should be a code inside your physical copy that you put in on the Mogstation.

Mmm, love the simple solutions, but I'm not that silly.

No, they only had digital available, so all I got was a receipt with an 18 digit code on it. After registering that, I got a new 12 digit code that I needed to use linking it to my PSN (using redeem codes on PS Store), and after some prompts I was able to start playing when the game released. But now it doesn't recogize that I paid for it, which is odd since as I said, I've got the receipt and two codes that show I did. When I log into Mog Station, it doesn't even show I own it. Odd, since I've got a few 71 characters and preorder bonuses!

Pre-order codes (which grant Early Access) are an entirely different code than your full registration code. You had to register before July 5 to avoid interruption. It's not an issue on SE's side, people are just not realizing that Early Access was not full game access - it was a preorder bonus. You still need to register the game.

Make sure you are entering your full registration code on the correct page. In Mog Station there is specifically an "expansion registration" page.

Ok, so if preorder codes are different then where is the code that allows access? I've only one receipt and only one code on it.

I've also lost access to shadowbringer. Apparently you need you request the code from Square Enix Store. Since they failed to send email to many people. Also the Square Enix Support centre won't take any responsibility. They throw it to Square Enix Store which as far as i know it doesn't actually belong to square enix.

We are sorry to hear that you are having issues with FINAL FANTASY XIV: Shadowbringers. Early access for the game has ended on the 5th of July at 11:59pm, This means that if you only had the early access license registered to your account you would now need to now register your full game code to be able to continue playing the expansion.

Please note that if you are playing on the PC or Mac and your code starts with RT4E, RF4A or RK4E then that is just the early access code and you cannot redeem that again, if you do not yet have your full game code then please read through the information below for more details :


• PC/MacPlayStation 4 Physical Purchase

The game would be shipped to you by the retailer and the code for the expansion would be in the game box

• Steam

You can right click the game in your Steam library and select "View CD Key" to see your full game code, please note you may see multiple codes for Shadowbringers but one will be your early access code and the other will be your full game code.

• PC/Mac Digital Purchase

The code would be emailed to you by the retailer you purchased the game from, if it was from the SQUARE ENIX Online store the code will also be visible in your order history.

• PlayStation 4 Digital Purchase

You would simply need to log into the game via the launcher and you will be prompted to register the expansion to your account.

If you pre-ordered the game on the SQUARE ENIX Store then they ship/email the codes with the intent they arrive on the day of release(the 2nd of July) if your order was for a digital version of the game on the SQUARE ENIX Store please refer to the order confirmation email you were sent when you purchased the game and click the "Click here to get access to your products" link which will take you to see your activation key.

You got to put the actual gamecode in on your account. not the early access code.
