    That sounds to me like maybe there was an issue with your payment method and your order was never completed. They started processing payments in early June and you would have gotten a confirmation email that your order was complete.

    The reason you were able to play until now is because the Early Acccess code is separate from the full registration code. You got EA just for preordering but now it's expired.

    I was able to go to my orders in the SE store, where I bought the expansion, and unlock the code.

    I am very baffled by the way SE handles these codes. First, when I got my pre order early access code, I got ONE code, that I had to go to a site and enter to get a SECOND code to get early access, and now there's a THIRD code I need despite it already verifying early access meaning it already verified a purchase of the expansion? This seems just overly convoluted.

    I hope they streamline this for 6.0.

    They sent you two. One for early access. One for release day. The latter needs to be applied in the expansion registration page of the mog station. Check your order page on the SE store if you are using the PC client.

    But maybe you need to step away from the computer for a little bit and go outside.

    And why exactly are you trying to recover your account, did you lose your password or something?

    The payment worked since they took 34.99 from my bank account. I bough a subscription, and a msq/level70 skip with the same card and had no probleme.
    I know i need the release code from square enix store but in my account, the shopping history is empty...

    Generally when they say there was a problem "validating" your purchase, it's because they couldn't get payment for it. Are you sure the charge wasn't just pending and then failed?
    I would verify that it cleared.

    Otherwise, you should have received an email confirmation that your order is complete and there is a button you can click to access your order.

    We are sorry to hear that you are having issues with FINAL FANTASY XIV: Shadowbringers. Early access for the game has ended on the 5th of July at 11:59pm, This means that if you only had the early access license registered to your account you would now need to now register your full game code to be able to continue playing the expansion.

    Please note that if you are playing on the PC or Mac and your code starts with RT4E, RF4A or RK4E then that is just the early access code and you cannot redeem that again, if you do not yet have your full game code then please read through the information below for more details :


    • PC/MacPlayStation 4 Physical Purchase

    The game would be shipped to you by the retailer and the code for the expansion would be in the game box

    • Steam

    You can right click the game in your Steam library and select "View CD Key" to see your full game code, please note you may see multiple codes for Shadowbringers but one will be your early access code and the other will be your full game code.

    • PC/Mac Digital Purchase

    The code would be emailed to you by the retailer you purchased the game from, if it was from the SQUARE ENIX Online store the code will also be visible in your order history.

    • PlayStation 4 Digital Purchase

    You would simply need to log into the game via the launcher and you will be prompted to register the expansion to your account.

    If you pre-ordered the game on the SQUARE ENIX Store then they ship/email the codes with the intent they arrive on the day of release(the 2nd of July) if your order was for a digital version of the game on the SQUARE ENIX Store please refer to the order confirmation email you were sent when you purchased the game and click the "Click here to get access to your products" link which will take you to see your activation key.

    Your registration Code is can be found by logging into the Square Enix store.
    Look for an email like this.

    Thank you for shopping at the Square Enix Store.

    We are pleased to inform you that your FINAL FANTASY XIV: Shadowbringers registration code has been added to your account!

    Log into your Square Enix Store account and visit "Your Orders." Locate your Shadowbringers order and click on “UNLOCK THE ACTIVATION KEY” to obtain your registration code to redeem on the Mog Station. Instructions on redeeming can be found here.
