Duty Finder should remind you about your equipment condition when you open it.

Currently it tells you that your equipment is in poor condition if you enter a queue, and if you get queued right away you have to either risk broken equipment or eat the penalty. It should warn you about durability when you open the duty finder instead.

Just ask someone in the duty to repair your gear for you. Surely somebody can. Or you.

Why don't you check it yourself before you queue? That's what I do.

...actually, what is the threshold that makes the message appear when you queue up? is it 20%? does the condition apply to one piece or is it an average? the game just goes "at least one of your pieces is noticeably low" but like, I don't even know what that means when I look at the raw numbers of equipment condition.

I don't know what the threshold is, I've never seen that message. I usually stop at a mender whenever I'm around one and repair my stuff. It only takes a few seconds and I don't ever have to worry about my equipment breaking.

As long as 1 piece is below 20% you’ll get the message
