Need help with a UI bar....

When I change to a different job my bar 4 that has all my paladin defence abilities remains exactly as is even though this other class can't use the abilities.

Sorry if it's a noob question but I kind of an a noob.

Go into character setting, hot bar, and then shared. Un check the shared bar that those abilities are on. Then its only charecter speceficic

Well I did it but it doesn't work. It just seems to turn it on and off but it doesn't seem to work by class for whatever reason.

Hmm... when you say "It just seems to turn it on and off" what do you mean? Does the hotbar disappear?

Yes it goes on and off. Maybe I'm not totally clear in what I was trying to do. I want to use bar 4 on all my classes but I want the bar abilities to change depending on what job I'm playing at the time. Does that make sense?

That makes sense.
Do you have any settings that say to hide other hotbars? Or maybe, when you're on your other class, try attaching some skills to the hotbar and see what happens?

Sorry, I'm used to playing with the cross hotbars on PS4, so I'm not totally familiar with a PC hotbar setup. I remember struggling to set everything up at first too though.
