Pace of Leveling:
The pace is about appropriate, in terms of the "time spent" in a leveling scenario. However, the amount of *kills needed to level is terribly flawed, making leveling UNBEARABLE. In XIV's current state, leveling feels like a repetitive, meaningless process. Enemies die too quickly, FORCING party-roaming and eliminating any opportunity for players to take a break (w/o disrupting gameplay). Multiple party camping is not an option (unless the area is oversaturated with mobs). It's a major issue.
Thoughts on FFXIV in It's Current State and Version 2.0:
SE is unwilling to drastically overhaul the Armoury System, which is leading to a poorly structured job system, inferior to FFXI. Classes lack uniqueness (due to the crossovers of MULTIPLE classes' actions). Class/Job crossovers should be restricted to one combo like sub jobs in XI. There's too much tp/ab/magic spam, making actions boring. The UI is too mouse-reliant. Most of the PS3 player base will be coming from XI. If SE does not adapt XIV to FFXI standards, version 2.0 will be a failure.

P.S. Don't feel like you're restricted to just those 2 categories. Elaborate on your thoughts about any of the poll questions (whichever ones you think are the most significant).
