They never said anything about us being anything typically "evil" or "bad" though. Light and dark, good and bad, it's all subjective.

From the 3.4 Warriors of Darkness' point of view, they were the good guys trying to save their own world. Had to do some bad stuff in the process, but it was ultimately for the greater good.

They destroyed their own world and tried to destroy another. It doesn't matter the perspective, they were "bad" guys. Any "greater good" accomplished from genocide will inevitable be drowned out by evil.

Alright, this isn't reality. Now we're in the territory of "but in real life". It's a game. They made a mistake, and they didn't actually murder anyone, they were just killing primals (and beast men) . A lot like we were in fact.
