Why not change the title to Iota Wolf. Iota in Greek numerals has a value of 10. Seems fitting for a top 10 title.

I like helping people with their Job ideas, it's fun to help them visuallize and create the job they'd like to play most. Plus I make my own too, I'll post them eventually.
you're one of the reasons why i browse the forums Crit <3

I do worry about this community sometimes...
Also I doubt anyone would understand what that means, I'm from Cyprus and it took me a moment to figure out what you meant + that's even worse than Beta Wolf. I don't speak Greek and even I know Iota Wolf in that context doesn't make sense. You remind me of those people who get random chinese/japanese words tattooed on their arm only to find out it actually means "pee drinker"

Which version sounds better depends on who's reading it. "Iota" is itself used to mean something small or insignificant ("it wouldn't make an iota of difference") and I couldn't tell you where it is in the alphabet - I can recite "alpha, beta, gamma, delta, epsilon" but can't get beyond that.
On the other hand, "beta wolf" is clearly a play on the existing term "alpha wolf" - it would probably be better if they actually used that for the top ranking title rather than "leader of the pack", but the meaning is the same. (Perhaps they started as matching titles, then someone said "hey, let's call the top one 'leader of the pack' instead" and didn't change the other for whatever reason.)
How about just feast slayer?
Feast Champion - 1st
Feast Slayer - top 10
Feast Regular - top 100

Wow, no need to be a douche. And why do you have our images up there as well? Are you hinting at something.

So do you wanna know how I came up with my "less than stellar" idea? Well like I replied to Inugami (not sure If you meant to use there image but made an error), but like I said, I though another Greek letter would work in place of Beta. Omega seemed too obvious, and for whatever reason Iota popped into my head, something about Darling in the Franxx and 002 and the 9s naming conventions, etc. Anyways I looked up Iota to see if it seemed like a good fit, and noticed it meant 10 as well so I figured "it might work". I saw Inugami's reply and while I wasn't sure if it was sarcastic or not decided to take it as a compliment and say thanks.
Now, for you information, I have studied Japanese, so I have a basic knowledge of the terminology. So I wouldn't suggest something in any language without trying to find put some facts first. Like I did with Iota. Not all things are at face value. Iota Wolf makes sense if you understand the intended meaning, and even if you don't, no perceived meaning is better than a negetive one, that most people are associating with Beta Wolf. But who am I to judge, we have a frickin title called Zero, and even one that says Ijin Traveler, in which Ijin (other person) could be considered rude or insensitive, since a word is missing to denote what it truly means, instead of its implied meaning. So next time if you don't agree with a suggestion, just say it doesn't sound good. Don't indicate someone's intelligence level based on a preconceived notion. Now let us relax with a nice tall glass of an unknown golden beverage. Don't worry it isn't pee.
Truthfully, this idea didn't occur to me, most likely since I don't use Iota in daily context. But then again that is the issue of this thread. It ironically it sorta make it a bit better being a play on words. Iota just means small, not insignificant in a bad sense, just an unnoticed one. So in that context Iota Wolf could translate to little wolf. But I can agree there is still probably a better option out there, if the whole "blank" Wolf title is desirable.Which version sounds better depends on who's reading it. Man this community is quality banter sometimes, seriously. Honesty doesn't always equal being a douche, your defensiveness is a symptom of your embarassment that you thought someone supported your idea when they were talking to someone else, if you can't tell what the purpose of showing the two profiles is, it's no wonder you didn't understand.Wow, no need to be a douche. What does you speaking Japanese have to do at anything? Like the grammatical structure are context of certain phrases bears any relevance or similarities with Greek in the slightest - but apparently this is supposed to back up your ability to comprehend terminology in another language, truly the oddest of defences. But sure, sorry, The Tenth Wolf is a great idea. You win.
Apparently it's healthy for discussion to tell you that something you've suggested is bad without telling you why, somehow in your mind. I'm not taking any personal perception of your intelligence, I'm simply piecing the puzzle of your fragmented logic together and threw in an anecdote for good measure. Also, I don't like beer, Cypriot beer is bad enough to put most people in this country off liking beer in general. I'll have a Black Russian though if you're paying.

It seems the purpose if what I said was lost. You are allowed your opinion, as is everyone else, but there is no need to belittle another individual, or question their thought process, regardless of your understanding or not. It's your delivery and the specifics that you called out my intellect. The Japanese was brought up because of said remark.Man this community is quality banter sometimes, seriously. But I could go on and on about this, mostly because it's been a long horrible day. But just keep that in mind for your next comment. You don't have to like what someone suggests, but don't try and insult them, absentmindedly so or not.
Oh and in good fair, here is that Black Russian.
