In wow the instance cap was introduced to reduce lag and help stabilize the server. I'm just really curious.

Edit: the 10 instance cap is only for an hour. After that you can do another 10 and wait another hour and again and again.
The limit was put in WoW a couple years ago because people were going in and out of dungeons farming for glamour and taking only like 5 to 10mins per run. This was to give the system time to clear out your record and let others have spots on the instance server.

You do not see that here because even if you unsynced for the dungeon, it would still take you about 15 to 20mins on most since the loot you are often going for is when you complete the entire dungeon. So, at best, you would only be able to do 5 per hour.
