    Enchanted Reprise

    Due to the skill being a DPS loss and having very little role to fill, I had an idea. Another problem RDM is having right now is our mana.

    What if Enchanted Reprise could restore 800 mana per cast.

    It takes about 700-800 mana to get enough B/W mana to cast a Enchanted Reprise. This would allow us to convert some of our B/W mana back into usable mana for casting spells. It is still a DPS loss but it brings some utility and allows us to use our utility without ruining our mana for a fight.

    Q: What is reprise useful for?
    A: Short answer, it should be used if you are unable to cast for over 2.5s.
    As for alignment, if you're 70|70 as manafication is rolling around it's better to use a ST Moulinet to align with manafication than 2x E. Reprise. If you are below 70|70, just overcap. Directly from the balance discord

    I understand how it works. The post was about changing it to also restore mana. I am not 100% sure what your answer was for.

    another thing to consider is how much DPS is lost holding onto a swift cast.
    I forget the numbers, but going by pure guessing, id imagine its a 1 potency lost every second swift cast isnt used, when its ready.
    (I dont have the game in front of me, nor do i remember most of the numbers atm, so ill update at a later time.)
    but NOT casting a spell for 2.2s is the same as taking 2.2s off the timer for lucid. so it does save on SOME MP used (though not the full amount)

    its still pretty bad though. there's not many attacks you can dok that actually do more DPS than the loss in DPS from e.reprise. (again, forget the numbers, but its something like 220 potency lost, after taking into consideration its base DPS added in. but maybe im remembering it wrong)

    Increase the potency of Enchanted Reprise back to 300, or at least 260.

    Swap Reprise with Enhanced Contre Sixte in our leveling order, so Reprise is closer to Scorch.

    Reduce the GCD of Enchanted Redoublement and the Verholy/flare to 1.5 sec.

    Give us a trait to recover MP based on the damage dealt by our weaponskills.

    Done.

    I like the idea of mana from weaponskills. It is much more elegant than my flat 800 mana per cast of Reprise.

    I also would love our big combo to be 1.5 sec GCD.
