So about Viera and Hrothgar.

So we all know the reason behind Hrothgar and Viera not being able to wear helmets and the issues that it came with, so I was wondering will they eventually add this? Or will they be helmtetless forever? Regardless I like how both classes turned out but i would've liked more beast like feet for hrothgar though.

I don't think they were helmets though. Doesn't look like they have any helmets, or hats right now at least. It would be cool if they eventually get helmets, though I think if they did, other than maybe hats, it would require some heavy modification.

If they do do it hopefully they do it right, instead of just having ears clip through the top or something.

They will update it gradually, prioritizing by user request. They will mention the wearable items in future patch notes.

It's planned that the rest of the headgear will be implemented at some point. They also can wear glasses (as the poster above me said, devs went behind Yoshi-P's back for them and other items) and any helmet that replaces the head, so Chocobo, Namazu, Moogle...

I mean like, Ninja helmets and full plated helmets on hrothgar, not just glasses and such.

Given that most of the issue with Hrothgar and Viera have been clarified as time related issues, I wouldn't be surprised if they later went back and added full helm functionality. It just likely won't be coming for awhile, especially since the asset artists have already crunched themselves to death trying to get what we were given and very much need a vacation.

It's not specifically NIN gear but I have the traveler's set that you get near the end of StB and that headpice does work on the Hrothgar. It literally covers the entirety of the Hrothgar's head. XD

I think Hrothgar might have inherent design issues with headgear due to the way their manes have been 'built into' the head model rather than being a separate interchangeable piece of the model, as it is for the other characters.

When other characters wear hats, some or all of the hair model is "turned off" or it would clip through the hat, and Hrothgar might not have that sort of control available to them.

That may come under the "headpieces that replaces the entire head model will be visible" rule? Since you can't see the character's face at all, and there's no visor option.

That's what I'm sayin, I'm curious on how the ninja helmets will look on them, all I can picture is how awful some helmets look on Charr in GW2.
