If there were some long timeskip they would have done something like having us rest at a room or a fade to black with "X Timeunits Later" etc.There isn't a reliable way to measure lengths of time between quests though.
Even if the MSQ quests are back to back... it could be hours, days, or weeks that pass between them.
They overtly address this in The CRP/LTH/WVR Crystarium quests...
Since you are gathering materials for the NPC to restore items, after you provide the materials the screen goes black and the text "A few days later" is displayed... because obviously it take some time to perform a restoration. However, as the player you experience this as a few seconds in real life. Furthermore, nothing else in the actual game world around you changes to indicate a sudden passage of 3 or more days in game...
We could have been in Eulmore for a few hours, a few days, a few weeks... since it wasn't explicitly stated.
