I swear this expansion brought out the worst people...

So, I'm currently leveling my Bunbreaker with my GF. We are doing all the Roulettes and stuff every day while we go through the MSQ. Every single time we've gone into one of these, there has been a slew of people just being outright horrible to other players. New players in a dungeon? The players in question just treat them horribly, screaming at them to "stop being bad" and "hurry up and keep up with the group" when they're trying to learn a new place.

It's even worse in some places when the new players fall behind. I get it, you've done this a million times, but they haven't, don't treat them like trash just because you're better than they are at it...

I agree, if someone is performing poorly and can't keep up with the rest of the group thus damaging the experience for everybody else, there is no point to be rude towards them. Simply votekick the person instead.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again: hide the chat window and / or filter it so only sever messages show up. The game becomes immensely more enjoyable. Admittedly, it feels bad as a solution, but seeing as S-E doesn't ban toxic players, it absolutely works.

Its very unfortunate to hear this, I have not experienced this on Aether.

Gonna need proof of that chief. Neither me nor those in my FC or even my friends have run into people like that so pretty sure you might just be a very small handful of people going through that.

Though ya post doesn't make a lot of sense since if you are doing 4 man roulettes, you and ya GF dictate the pace so unless you are acting like that to new players I don't see how 1 person (not counting you, the gf, and this 'new player') is making the experience horrible since you can just kick them.

As for 8 man roulettes, all the alliance/normal/MSQ roulettes I been through, no one cares if the player is new. People just rush ahead, down the bosses, and get through them easily since their not difficult.
