Thread: [dev1002] High Quality Cut-scenes and Voice Overs

Forgive me if this has been asked, but I did a quick search and didn't find anything.

I noticed that none of the new quests that have been added have the high quality of say the first cut-scene and even the last cut-scene. The first ones for each city state are probably the best in the game.

What I want to know is, will there be more of these kinds of cut-scenes and can we expect more voiced over dialog? What does everyone think about this?

I think they should add this to 2.0 release. with voice over for job quests too

Don't expect to see anything voiced before 2.0, VA costs alot especially for content they may not keep all of.

This was my impression too, if they not keeping some of the quests, or text may alter, it costs a lot.

The only Pre 2.0 thing I expect to even have a chance at being voice is the doomsday event whenever it rolls around.

I know you cant compare Apples to Nopales but SWTOR has a TON of voice acting so i think they should be able to have alot more by 2.0

I could be mistaken, but I'm pretty sure the japanese version has an english dub as well. So... yes it would save money if they didn't have an english dub, but then they'd have no voice acting at all.

That's realistically the only thing going for that game.

I'd rather not have any voice acting at all than just Japanese voice acting. I really enjoy the VA that Square Enix pulls out for their localizations, so I'd rather have English.

You notice how that's all TOR has to offer, right? Other than that the game is the closest thing to 2004 WoW. This game has much more to offer than just voice acting.
