Someone already posted a bug about this, but I'm almost positive that this is merely a localization issue. I don't know how these things get forwarded internally, so I figured it would be faster if I posted about it here... not that it's terribly urgent, but it is rather misleading.

Supply Missions are missions where you turn in crafted items.
Provisioning Missions are missions where you turn in gathered items.

When I turn in items for Supply Missions, I get credit toward the "Fueling the Storm" and "The Onyx Oars" achievements, but they state that they're for provisioning missions. When I turn in items for Provisioning Missions, I get credit toward "To Each According to His Own Need" and "The Jade Mast" achievements, but they stated that they're for supply missions.

Why am I almost positive that this is a localization issue and not a bug?

The earring reward for completing "The Onyx Oars" has Control+5 -- a crafting stat.
The ring reward for completing "The Jade Mist" has Perception+5 -- a gathering stat.

I can't say whether or not this issue applies just to the Maelstrom, or all Grand Companies.

This is definitely a LOC issue. It seems that 'provisioning' and 'supply' were mixed up in the help text for the following achievements:

(is supply -> should be provisioning)
