Gather Skins Level 70-80

Hello all im wondering before we used to be able to kill certain monster and get their skins currently i was triying to kill GLIDERS on my level 70 DRG (mobs were level 73) , but the drop rate was aweful .. im curius does my level determine drop rate ? or should i just change to my level 80 ?

And yes i know about the BLUE Gemstone , im asking about only for the purpose of drop rates.

I've never heard of level affecting drop rates, and if you only care about drops, then the kill speed gained by being level 80 is almost certainly going to serve you better.

With that said, I have no actual evidence.

Drop rates for skins is pretty poor all around. I've always found it better to just send my retainers to get them than trying to farm them myself.

That seems to be correct, not to mention the skins for trade in is really low ie 1 gem per skin. I was able to level up ALC due to the fact I was nearly capped on Biocolor Gems. FATES are much faster and hopping on FATE trains have good benefits. The system I think has improved by using FATES as a means to get the mats you want and level your alts.

It benefits War and Magic classes as well, since there's a way for them to contribute to mat farming and less fights over overworld mobs.
