Heavensward & Stormblood?

Is there any way to purchase Heavensward & Stormblood or do you have to buy Shadowbringers to enjoy those two expansions? I'm only asking because I was told that the first 2 expansions were INCLUDED in the base game now and that Shadowbringers was a stand-alone expansion.

The expansions are included WITH SHADOWBRINGERS. You need to purchase the base game separately unless you get the COMPLETE edition.

They made Heavensward available again (and free) for a while last month, so might again. And if you can find a retailer who still has copies, codes for either HW or SB are still valid, but SE's own store usually only offers the latest one, so it's focused on Shadowbringers now. Most players who don't have them yet will get the older expansions by buying the latest one.

I suppose you could try tracking down some old copy of Heavensward and/or Stormblood and use that code, but both of them are indeed included if you buy the Shadowbringers expansion. Note: they are included with Shadowbringers, not with the base game.

It was the same when Stormblood was the latest expansion - if you bought Stormblood you also got Heavensward.

Its also worth noting that Shadowbringers is NOT a stand-alone expansion in the sense off you being able to play it without having completed ARR, HW and SB storylines (wether you play through them or buy a skip potion is up to you, obviously...).

There is also little point in only purchasing HW and/or SB but not Shadowbringers, since it continues both the story and has all the recent endgame. So if you're enjoying Final Fantasy XIV, you might aswell buy all expansions since they tell a continuing story anyways.
