If I'm not mistaken now, I just remembered reading in another butt thread a long time ago, that there had been an official comment about the butt.
And that was that they didn't have any plans on changing them because making the butts bigger would stretch out the textures of clothing/armor pieces, and that would just make it look bad.

I can't link any source of any kind, since this is a vague memory.
But maybe someone else knows what I am refering to that has better knowledge or sources.

I vaguely remember this being a counterpoint but not an official one. If this was such an issue then we wouldn't have chest sliders either though. if they are kept within reasonable levels the distortion is minor, as it is on certain chest armors.

Well, maybe not official official, but it was a response to a popular question during an interview of some sort.

So officially: "It might look weird but we'll look into it" ... and they didn't implement it so the conclusion was supposedly there wasn't enough demand and/or it was too technically demanding or caused too many problems. But we have no idea why the final decision was made.

My guess would be it was decided to not be a priority and the manpower/time/money is more usefull elsewhere.

Now the big question, would EVERYONE get the butt slider? cause that's fair. Everyone has a butt.

From what I've read on different threads, seems like most male characters wants a Bulge slider instead of a Butt slider.
I guess that is fair in a way.
Seeing how females think that a big/round butt is appealing/attractive. So too might men think about a big bulge.

I am not interested in either though. This just came to mind when you asked if everyone would get a slider.
