    Crashing to desktop during last dungeon of Shadowbringers MSQ

    During the lvl 80 dungeon I keep getting an expected error while loading in the 3rd part of the dungeon.
    frequency: 4 tries at loading in all 4 resulted in a crash.

    Thank you for posting in the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums.

    Does the crash only happen in Shadowbringers or does the game crash anywhere else?


    The crash could be be caused by the 90fps cap placed in game. This has created an issue with players with high refresh rate monitors.


    The problem is currently being looked into. A work around would be to play the game on DirectX 9 (no longer supported).
