Can you provide the error that you are receiving? At what point do you receive this error?
Do you only have the game on PS4? Does the same thing happen if you try it on a different platform?

I only play on PS4 and also keep getting CE-34878-0 error as well in character creation. I think it's the same error for both.
My fiance is also having the same problem. She is also a viera and has emailed Square Enix support about receiving the same CE-34878-0 error. She is on PS4 and has tried reinstalling the full game and making sure her PS4 is set as the primary PS4 as per SE and PlayStation support's request but still to no avail. Seems to only be a problem with the viera race and is only happening on PS4 and the error only occurs on FFXIV. This has been only occurring since Shadowbringer's early access was released and has not been properly looked into thus making the game practically unplayable as a viera on PS4. It impossible to make use of a fantasia she has paid money for because the game keeps crashing.

Could you try to delete the cache and then see if you still get a crash? Please also try to reinstall the game.

I'm sorry but it seems you did not read the post. I have already stated that deleting and reinstalling the game did not solve the issue.

Unfortunately, the error code CE-34878-0 is a PS4-specific error. As such, we are limited in how we are able to provide assistance. If reinstalling the game does not resolve the issue, please contact Playstation support here: https://support.playstation.com/
