Same as for the Medic ability, I feel that it can be better used on an Alchemic combat style class (a la Chemist from Tactics) but other than that it certainly seems interesting.
I c i c thank you for the feedback. I wasnt too sure about the item abilites myself, but as far as red mage and rapiers go i think this is it. I dont think we need to add a whole 'nother class just for a "deulist" style class. A speed assassin type puts red mage right where it should be coupled with magic from cnj and thm Allow me to explain...

Red Mage:
Major: Scout
Minor: Conjurer, Thaumaturge

The red mage would be a magic assassin type character

Enchant - Pull elements from the aether, the last elemental spell cast by or near you enchants your weapon with that property.
Chainspell - Spells may be used in rapid succession with no cooldown time and no cast time for the duration of the effect
Translation - Instantly switch MP and TP pool values
Delta Strike - Deliver a 3-fold attack hitting enemy HP, MP, and TP
Free Cast - Auto attacks enabled while casting, TP is consumed over time.

Couple this with the transferable skills from CNJ and THM and you have a red mage.
