I agree with the "rely on eachother in a player run economy" comment. Perhaps it would require a party to unlock the crafting jobs. Perhaps we need to gather ingredients in parties in order to survive. I really like the idea of synergistic crafting/gathering and TEAM WORK!
still not going to happen, take those ideas to a new game, here, we have access to ALL CLASSES right off the bat

crafting wont get jobs like combat(we will however get artifact gear)


also, teamwork is there, just not as much as near launch now that people have had almost 2 years to get their crafts up so we have more people with multi 50 crafts, when you see the cap raise youll once again see more of this teamwork, and itl be a continuious cycle as such with each cap raise til each time people have had time to level everything


i understand you dont like crafting as is, but i hate to tell you it is not a majority thing that crafting isnt liked. most people who are on the hate crafting bandwagon hate it in general and still wont do it regardless of how its changed
the rest of you just want something that isnt there and wont be there because you want to do everything and feel that if it isnt catering to how you want to do it it has to be bad and must be changed
