No, thank you. Only an Aetherflow dump in some form (Energy Drain or other).
Returning to the mediocre DPS button bloat we had before will only make it harder to improve in the future.
I can stomach the loss of dps skills but what i'd really want back for SCH is miasma II instead of Art of War and all Selene's skills. Oh also, making aetherflow like before and energy drain back too.
Why would you want Miasma II? AoW is literally a better version of Miasma II.

1) No it's not unless your spamming it. 200 pot Miasma 2 vs 150 AoW
2) Because AoW doesn't fit with the new design of healers needing to heal? Miasma II does. Pop Miasma II, heal some, pop it again 6s later.
All they'd have to do is keep the initial hit low enough so it's not spammed and the dot strong enough to warrant use..
And? You're literally wasting that dot because in the majority of cases where you'd use Miasma II, you'd be spamming it.
Of course you're spamming it.1) No it's not unless your spamming it. 200 pot Miasma 2 vs 150 AoW

6s for Miasma II to break even.
9s for Miasma II to be better.
How often do you find yourself using AoW every 9 seconds?
But you'll be spamming Art of war too anyway, so why not adding an effect more for when you stop spamming to heal? It doesn't hurt, why getting so aggressive.
There are many occasions where one will just start the fight by using a miasma II for dots then start healing, without spamming the aoe too. That's why i prefered miasma II. Start fight, go put the dot, concentrate on healing, then reapply the dot and so on. We can't do it with art of war.
But then i'd like to know too why you think art of war is better? Maybe i'm missing something idk

Large pulls in dungeons when you have to focus on healing the tank? Which is what the intended goal of Shadowbringers is.And? You're literally wasting that dot because in the majority of cases where you'd use Miasma II, you'd be spamming it.

Veteran healers don't care if we need to heal, but right now we don't. We want interesting things to do during the downtime other than a 30s dot and a single filler spell that hasn't changed from lvl 4 to lvl 90.
Dead DPS do no DPS. Raised DPS do 25/50% lower DPS. Do the mechanics and don't stand in bad stuff.
Other games expect basic competence, FFXIV is pleasantly surprised by it. Other games have toxic elitism. FFXIV has toxic casualism.[/LIST]
Because miasma II applies a dot and Art of war doesn't.
Which is better in terms of what will make me do more damage the majority of the time? Art of war, if you ignore how fast we run out of mp. Personally though I'd much rather miasma II, as I think a lot of other people in here would. It's a lot more fun/interesting than art of war, and I actually used it in fights that had two target situations like in deltascape v3 and unending coil to name a few. Also if my mp was running low, I would let the dot tick for its full duration before I would use it again, to get more potency per mp. Art of war is just so boring, it might be effective I guess, but it's no fun.
