I think it's better with higher level recipes.
Getting a petalite gem or a whole dwarven mythril nugget back is not bad. :3 And let's be honest, when you've maxed out your crafting gear you usually have 60cp+ to spare even when you HQ something.

I literally have made like close to 1 million Gil back pricing this skill and getting gems and nuggets back. 100% proc seems like real greed.
I agree with IntrovertAnt, Reuse is a nicety in our toolkit.
With 40/80 dura items being HQ-able for around 440-465~ CP... This should 'save' or 'earn' you extra coin, especially when a rotation becomes even cheaper CP-wise due to the HQ materials buff.
It's one of those skills that when you first see it you go, oh that looks interesting and useful, but when you actually play around with it you find out its kinda lackluster and not even worth the 60CP it costsBut if you have 60 CP to spare, you might as well.

It depends on what you're crafting. Of course it's underwhelming if you're crafting things with materials you can pick up by the dozens with a few minutes of farming.
I got back a Nidhogg Scale once which was more than worth the 60cp i paid for it.

100% proc would break part of the game. Seems like I only get back the first ingredients. Imagine the items you could make with that. Any of the Ex Primal drop weapons? Some housing items?
In my experience so far, the rate is closer to 16% (1 in 6). I've tracked it for a while. I seem to get back about 16 in 100. But I think it needs more testing to be sure.
I had couple runs while i tested out this skill.
It is not the 60CP worth. Looks like it save always only 1 material. Undepend on how many mats the craft have. It tend to save mats which are more than 1 in the recept.
Like 3 Lumber; 1 Leather; 2 Stones; 1 Glue. It will save 1 Lumber.
My last run i used it always when it pop up, i had 50 crafts asking for 100 Lumber. It saved 11 Lumber. Ja'lol'ey.
And it pop up compleat random. Undepend on the craft staus like "Good" or "exelent".
If you have the 60CP left, so why dont use it? Cause it is 1 more skill actrion, 1 more click. If you facing 100 crafts... #notforlol10outof100 ;P
I can imagen it comes in use when we have some more dificil crafts with more expensive mats. The chance is high that you dont have the 60 CP left over in this crafts... but if you have you may want to click it for save you a 150k mat![]()
