Disconnects on Area Change/Entering Any Duty

First of all let me say this; All the things discussed in this thread have been done

    http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...29#post4784729

Second, as far as the further questions, -IF- I can get back in, it'll drop me wherever the Disconnect happened. This problem pre-dates Shadowbringers, and spans 3 different ISP's, it happens with or without firewall protection, ports opened and administrative privileges elevated.

After searching through the forums, I can see this is a widespread issue, and right now in Shadowbringers, it's Paralyzing due to login Queues. Not just to me, but to groups that queue for a duty, just to have their tank disconnect right at the start. I mean this last time I spent nearly an hour in the queue, to queue for a duty and wait around some more, to get disconnected, requeue to the server and more waiting...

So at this point, I want to ask Technical Support teams if there are any other idea's on the table currently to resolve this particular issue?

You probably came across my post about this, too.

I'm having pretty much the same issue with instance dungeons, and it always seems to be whenever a cutscene happens.

Either at the start of the dungeon, the cutscene introducing the boss, or the cutscene showing the boss dying.

I had entertained the idea it could be client side, but I would have no idea where to start.

I've tried the same methods you've done in your post, as well as used a GPN to see if it was indeed my ISP. It isn't. And looking at your post, it happened around the same time: patch 4.4

Seems you and I are in the same boat, and I'm just as lost as you are. I'll still be looking around for a way to fix this, and if I find it, I'll post it here for us.

I suspect it's one of two things... First is that my FFXIV install sits on a mechanical HDD separate from my OS, therefore hasn't been reinstalled in some time, perhaps there's an issue there (I doubt it though, but reinstalling anyway to be safe as it's the one thing I have not tried yet) or there's something about my NIC that the game does not like in the least since then but I find this unlikely as this happens across two different builds, with two different NIC's.

So what does that leave us with?

    Software conflict of some sort
A network hub that hiccups between us and the Data Center (Tried several different data centers as well)
A Server side Deadlock that they have yet to identify.

Which Reminds me SquareEnix; Remember how there used to be that 2 minute grace period to allow someone back into highly populated servers when this kind of thing happened? Where did that go? That would save a lot of us soooooo many headaches like this and get us off your back for the most part.
