    Trouble disabling low-resolution scaling

My monitor has a resolution of 1920x1080. I have two different screen mode settings for playing FFXIV. The first one is 1280x720 fullscreen for dungeons and raids etc., since it has better performance than the other option. But I have trouble alt-tabbing in this mode, so I use 1280x720 for other activities such as gathering and crafting.

I would like to be able to play FFXIV in full-screen mode without scaling (1280x720 to 1920x1080). But I could not find a solution on how to achieve this. My graphics card is NVIDIA GeForce GTX 860M (for laptops). Also there is Intel Integrated Graphics.

The first thing I tried was to locate the NVIDIA Control Panel and disable it from there. However, apparently the option for this operation is not available for laptops on the NVIDIA interface, since this is handled by Intel Inegrated Graphics.

Another thing I tried was to re-install the NVIDIA drivers, but this does not seem to fix anything.

The other thing I tried doing was to right-click ffxiv_dx11.exe > Properties > Compatibility > Disable display scaling on high DPI settings, but this does not solve the issue either.
