not letting me use my activation key

whenever i try to put my activation key for shadow bringers onto the mogstation i get this message "The entered code is invalid." and its the code i just got so how is it invalid worse is it wont give me a new key.

You're probably inputting the code in the wrong spot. There's specifically an expansion registration page you have to go to on the Mog Station.

I have been having this issue too....except I tried something and it seemed to work. Unfortunetly this isnt a fix but rather something is wrong with the mog station that needs to be fixed. I have 2 service accounts because a while back ago I picked up havensward twice. So I have had a spare account.
When I put the same code that read "this code is invalid" on my primary account on my second account it seems to work. I am thinking this may have to do with the storm blood expansion as my second account lacks the stormblood expansion (I bought the game over today on Amazon to see if it was the SE store code that was just having problems and sure enough the same results were duplicated) I did not use the activation codes on either of the games and going to see if I can at least return one of them if I can get either code to work. (I didnt get my preorder items either)
I hope they can solve this problem soon.

I used the steam of SDB on mog today, and theres a button pink/red that exclusive for dlc codes, it will work there. i know cause in same hour i tryed in the item option place and preorder button, didnt worked there.

By any chance, was one of the two bought through Steam and the other not? That could account for a code working on one and not the other, since Steam and non-Steam codes can't be mixed on the same account.

If the game was purchased from Steam, then all expansions have to be purchased through Steam, and if the game was not purchased through Steam, then expansions cannot be purchased from Steam. (It seems like a pretty dumb rule to me.)

The confirmation e-mail they sent out was thoroughly confusing. The actual activation code was completely missing from it. As it turns out, that's because it had not yet been generated, but there was no message to that effect.

Worse, there was a button on the second "pre-order" entry that you could click to get an activation code. It just wasn't *the* activation code. Clicking the "Instructions" link on the first entry took you to an article that referenced a button on the Moogle Station that hadn't even been made available yet. Why was there even an "Instructions" button on the first entry if it wasn't even valid yet????

If you expanded the instructions for the second entry, it directed you to yet another page (not on the Moogle Station) on which you could enter that code to get your early access/bonus items code. I was able to enter that second code on the Moogle Station to get my pre-order goodies. To be clear, that still wan't the Shadowbringers activation code; it just unlocked some goodies. Does that sound confusing? That's because it is.

When the game finally released, they sent a follow up e-mail that was somewhat clearer because it had buttons on both entries, so it was obvious that the first set of instructions only applied to the first activation code.

I would have been angrier about this if I had actually progressed my character to the point where early access would matter, but since I'm relatively new to this game, it was no big deal for me. I guess I know now for next time.
