Loading screen stuck

So I've just started the story and I think I'm getting to a new area or something, only I'm stuck at the loading screen for that area. Have been for the last hour.

You maybe experiencing connection errors due to congestion. Are you connected directly to the router? What have you tried to alleviate the issue so far?

I'm not sure there's anything I can do troubleshooting wise for this. My connection is good. I can log in, I can see my character. I actually tried to look at the two new races and the hrothgar are missing their entire body model. When I pick my character I get the message about being in a queue, then after some time passes I get to the loading screen with the little moogle down at the bottom and that's where it's stayed.

Can you submit a Final Fantasy XIV system report? Simply go to the 'Config' option on the Final Fantasy XIV launcher and to the right of 'System Information' click on 'Display.'

You may want to try a reinstall of the game. When you do, make sure to remove the locally-saved data folder (located My Documents > My Games > Final Fantasy XIV). Be sure to make a backup of this just in case it doesn't resolve the issue.
