WHM Hotbar Issue with DIA, GLARE, AERO, and STONE

I just hit lvl 72 with my WHM. In my Hotbar, the Aero action turned into turned into Dia and the Stone action turned into Glare. Now when I try to replace Aero or Stone back into my Hotbar, they immediately switch to Dia or Glare. I tried logging off, exiting FFXIV, and then logging back in. Still happens. That is what is meant to happen. Stone IV turns into Glare and Aero II turns into Dia. You can't have both.

You have a trait that turns Aero II and Stone III into Dia and Glare. When you go to lower level-synched content, they'll change back. They started doing that back in SB.

Thank you for the information. I just started playing recently and that is the first instance of it happening that I have noticed.

Actually it happens everytime your spells got "upgraded". For example, you had Stone, that became Stone 2, then became Stone 3, Stone 4, Glare.
Glare is basically Stone 5.

Yeah I saw those and that spell progression instantly made sense to me. Turning from STONE IV to GLARE was where the confusion came from, especially when you can grab STONE IV from the Actions and it only turns into GLARE when placed in the hotbar.

Might want to check your Traits every now and then if a change seems confusing.
