Nascent Flash - Party Restriction - Please Remove

I think there's several issues with Nascent Flash, but I think the most urgent one which needs to be addressed is the fact that you cannot target a non-party member playable character with it. That is, in a 24 man raid, or in a pvp raid where there are alliances, Nascent Flash will not work on a non party-member (i.e., a member of a different alliance group).

This restriction is frustrating, especially in Frontlines PvP, where there are no party members around (because they died for instance), and you unable to use Nascent Flash even though there are plenty of Alliance Members close by.

I wish it was possible to use the action without a target, but it looks like SE is trying to reduce self-sustain in order to promote the importance of healers.

But for the love of all that is holy, allow Nascent Flash to work on Alliance Members that are not party of one's own party.

It's difficult enough to have to target another person, then hit your burst actions, then switch back to the enemy as quickly as possible to take full advantage of the tiny Nascent Flash window, but to have it NOT work on Alliance Members is too much restriction. Maybe SE doesn't want multiple warriors stacking Nascent Flash on a single target? But they could just have the second Nascent Flash overwrite the first.

I haven't tested this, but I don't even know if Nascent Flash will work with another playable character period if that character is not part of your party. Say, a hunt group. You might need to party with that person first before Nascent Flash could work. This is so cumbersome!

    Fix this. Please!

I would at least like an option to cast just on self. I can see too many situations where others wont be around you when you need to use it. And I play WAR to not need to click on the party menu >:/

I use a macro now to cast it. Works well. Especially for pvp. But it still requires a party member... I wish it didn't, and that multiple nascent flashes just overwrote each other.

But check this out for pvp. It makes it so much easier to use.

    /merror off
    /psort
    /micon "Nascent Flash" "pvpaction"
    /pvpaction "Nascent Flash" <f>
    /pvpaction "Nascent Flash" <2>
    /pvpaction "Nascent Flash" <3>
    /pvpaction "Nascent Flash" <4>
    /pvpaction "Nascent Flash" <5>
    /pvpaction "Nascent Flash" <6>
    /pvpaction "Nascent Flash" <7>
    /pvpaction "Nascent Flash" <8>
    /tle
    /tenemy

I'm not sure if targetlastenemy would target the nearest enemy if the last enemy isn't available, so I just stuck both in there. Seems to work fine. It's actually a pretty cool action, I just wish it worked with alliance members as well party members.

Basically the macro will cast Nascent Flash on my focus target, and if one isn't available, it casts it on any other party member from 2 to 8.

Never mind, just read the tool tip and it shows it has a 30 yard range. Could probably tag anyone with that.

    That macro is wild.

But Paladin can still heal all day long while Warrior lost their dammage=healing playstyle. To have Nascent Flash behave like Bloodbath but still require a party member is kind of defeating its purpose and that is to be able to self sustain long enough if there's no healer around.

I'd prefer that Nascent Flash can be cast on self.

Common sense is not so common anymore.

Yeah.. I wish it was useable without a party member... It's pretty cumbersome to use right now and it's one of those actions where I feel a macro really is needed to be able to effectively use the action and have fun.

And the restriction really sucks in frontlines pvp. Sometimes there's an alliance member that could use a bit of my healing and it sucks that I can't use nascent flash on him or her. Or sometimes the party is, like I said, just dead, and because of that Nascent Flash is unuseable.

Nascent Flash is fine. And we don't even have a relevant Alliance raid right now.. Even if we did nothing prevents you from using it on a party member for self heals. Whoever is tanking is just going to have to rely on their own party members, that's all.

Its treated like TBN, which also only applies to your group, you cant use it on members of other alliances. If they start removing the party restrictions i don't know where they should draw the line, what about healer shields, buffs and so on? This has some serious balance implications for everything where u play in an alliance.
