I think it looks pretty rad, but I would like to see the Male rendition since it would have to be altered...I mean unless we are to expect the male to wear a semi-short skirt too! D:>
Hmm... I guess you could call the "robe" part just the green top half and the "legs" could be "Evoker's Skirt" or "Evoker's Cassock" for the male version maybeI like your thinking by the way!
He keeps telling me he's wants to work on the male version, but I don't know if he's started it yet. He's been pretty busy with job hunting, but he's been lurking on this thread from time to time and everyone's ideas and feedback have been motivating him! So maybe he'll have a male design soon, which I'm sure he'll make me post on this thread for him lol.

I prefer the recolor. Very cute.
The Horn looked stupid in FF11 it will look stupid here. I like no horn or a stone on the head is much better.
So either the summoner gets to be Stoned or Horny, right?
Sorry I still don't have any word on a male version, but I thought I'd bump this thread anyway. I have no idea what Matt wants to do for the male version, but I personally think maybe a hakama-like pant to replace the skirt would be cool.
(In this picture it's the blue lower half part of their outfits)
Hakamas are kind of like flow-y pants and they were traditionally worn by male Shinto priests. Of course, the male SMN version of it wouldn't be exactly the same as a hakama because of the triangle pattern and the different color and material, but I think being inspired by this type of "lower half" garment would work.
I know that Japanese players were asking for more Japanese-inspired equipment in the game, and I wonder if they would embrace this idea or if it wouldn't fit with what they want.
