Summoner design!

nice design and all, I hate to be that guy but please don't pressure the dev team to do stuff like this or even toy with the idea. people just get all hurt when their ideas can't be used, and if they use yours then all of a sudden that sets a precedent for 9999 different people submitting their own stuff.

Since Summoner came up in the new Player Poll I thought it'd be a good time to mention this design.

My boyfriend is an artist and he loves the summoner archetype. He made this design for an FFXIV summoner not too long ago. It incorporates a few elements of the FFXI Summoner AF armor and its also partially inspired by the "style" of FFXIV. I dunno if SE's artists like Yoshida-san have already started to design a Summoner job for FFXIV, but I know my boyfriend would be honored if they even took a look at his take on the FFXIV Summoner.

as summoner af design? no thanks. that looks way too miscellaneous. looks like something you'd wear on a date. and no horn. we totally need the horn.

Very cute, I like the different approach. The colors should stay with the SMN theme. It would be great if, instead of a horn, a carbuncle ruby can be placed as the head piece. It can be incorporated into the storyline in some way. Just an idea.

He redid the coloring and added in the summoner's circlet/horn! Thanks for the feedback

He said if he were to design the SMN outfit for male characters, the horn would probably be a bit more prominent.

However I prefer the Final Fantasy Tactics summoner look. I hoping Yoshida continues to stick to traditional looking AF So far so good~

To be fair, Garnet had her horn removed. And Eiko has a horn. Never saw the relic set for the SMN though.

They actually referenced to building Yuna's statue with a horn as well. I think horns should be added. However, green is a bit silly.
