Summoner design!

Since Summoner came up in the new Player Poll I thought it'd be a good time to mention this design.

My boyfriend is an artist and he loves the summoner archetype. He made this design for an FFXIV summoner not too long ago. It incorporates a few elements of the FFXI Summoner AF armor and its also partially inspired by the "style" of FFXIV. I dunno if SE's artists like Yoshida-san have already started to design a Summoner job for FFXIV, but I know my boyfriend would be honored if they even took a look at his take on the FFXIV Summoner.

He redid the coloring and added in the summoner's circlet/horn! Thanks for the feedback

Here's a quick sketch of the circlet horn in profile:



He said if he were to design the SMN outfit for male characters, the horn would probably be a bit more prominent.

Anyway, he's been working on a painting with the SMN in his spare time. It's not really close to being finished yet, but:

I might be a bit biased, but I really like the "summoner's stone" crystal/jewel near the waist of the armor. I think it gives the design a unique quality that separates it as SMN armor :3

Please no horn on my head this time, and the bathroom tile green should be tossed right out. A more pleasing green tone would be fine.

Very impressive artwork, missing a fitting headgear though(evoker horn maybe?).
This style would fit very well into the game and the class itself.

I voted for THF and RDM type classes myself however, sorry summoner :s but I like caster hybrids and sneaky agile classes more.
