The jumping in Advent Children had it been an actual video game would have been done like the active input boss fights from God Of War where you have to time your button presses to perform the maneuvers and they are pre-scripts with allowable failure points that can be recovered from and some that can not be.
No open free jumping. I have a feeling if they do implement jumping its going to be Lancer Onry. and be an ability/emote not an actual jumping mechanic that would allow for jumping puzzles. Which are the major reason I do not want a jumping mechanic. Jumping Puzzles in a lag based environment like MMO's are always rediculous. You get lag spiked at the wrong time or you misjudge your footing and your falling to your death and have to run all the way back to start over.
I hate the jumping puzzles in WoW, Tabula Rasa, and other mmos with jumping.
