    as i posted before in other related threads i only have 2 problems with our current anima system:

    1:Someone can teleport you to a camp you never visited allowing you to just skip the majority of the world, you should only be able to teleport to places you actually went to by foot/chocobo.

    2:Just breaking up your body at a molecular level anywhere, anytime, at will, to teleport to a location across the continent seems really weird for mere adventurers, we are not some kind of demi-gods.
    I think teleportation should be limited to the crystals/gates, which means you have to run to a crystal and from there access the aetheryte stream network to travel and let the aetherite crystal do the job of de-materializeing and putting you together.
    You can travel to any crystal you visited from any crystal and it works for party members as well (if they have the location) but would be a more elegant and believable solution for the setting since it creates a real network of aether and not that "the realm is oozing so much aether i can jump in anywhere with my unexplained god powers" situation we have now.

    What happens when they make anima required for summoning Primals in the future...OMG I can't summon. I've turned off animas for good.

    SE I demand anima!!! Giggles...watch and see.

    Why are people trying to intelligently answer this? /thread on first page.. "Then don't use it." Wtf is next a whole thread dedicated to getting rid of airships or catalysts? Give the f$%^&ing devs a break already... Who does this?

    Oh and just to vent the other half of the server population..

    TO DEV'S: Dev's.. killer patch. Thank you. Way beyond expectations. Killer. Also, I would personally like anima to regenerate faster. Maybe one an hour? That'd be great. Thanks again.

    I don't see how this would work. All I think of are arguments breaking out because people want to gather for events quickly, but half the party refuses to teleport, instead opting to take 30mins to travel on foot.

    The system needs to be redesigned, but it needs to be made into something balanced that the most amount of people are fine using. If you don't want to use it, you can try to avoid it, but it may mean that it makes it more difficult to find people willing to wait for you.

    Please read the first post, this is for discussion of whether an NPC should be added for those who don't want to use anima. Discussion about if anima should/shouldn't exist, or if there should be a different form of currency used for anima, OR if there should be limitations to where you can teleport do not belong in this thread. OP has linked to two threads that serve for just that, please use them.

    But to get back on the actual topic, I'd rather be against this idea. Anima will be there whether you like it or not, they might remove it whether I like it or not. But trying to create an NPC to give people the option to remove it if they don't want it won't stop complaints about it existing. The only way they'd be satisfied is if all traces of anima were removed. The easier option would be as specified time and time again, don't use it if you don't want it. If SE listens and removes it or keeps it in place is another story. From what I know they're supposed to be doing some type of changes to the system I think come 2.0 so you'll find out then. But adding an NPC in just for this sake is not only a waste of resources (No offense OP.) but would fail to solve anything period.

    Anima should be something we gather or farm...

    Chocobo scent...SKILL DIG!!! ANIMA Found!!! Yup go SE go!!!

    I put on the survey that SE should take less into consideration in these forums...they bend over backwards for too many people...just design the game...people WILL play. Just don't get distracted Devs and make the magic happen on your end.

    Thank you.. I've been deliberately not posting because of eminent stupid, but man these anima threads just set me off after a few drinks. All the crap SE is trying to do right now and we get full threads about abolishing things that you can just simply NOT USE? I'm blown away by this patch, great freakin job, and people are starting threads like this. Unbelievable.

    I know, and I do agree. The lack of a pet class/job, for instance, is really bugging me. I seriously want to tame one of those crazy looking wolf things. I'd rather have that before more mounts, but I do hope that extra mounts are on the list for things to do in 2.0.
