If people would use Anima correctly there would not be a problem, I only use it when I am in a hurry, and I seem to always have some.

This is one of the silliest Ideas I have seen to date. Simply don't use it and it won't be an issue. Why should they waste the time to program something in that you can abolish yourself by simply not using it? Take the time in money to develop something that has no purpose.I would love for SE to make an anima removal npc that would remove all anima permanently (optional for people who dont want anima anymore). Just visit the npc and he will remove it for you. That way people who don't want anima can stop trying to change the game for everyone that likes anima. We would all be able to coexist in a world with no more "remove teleporting threads".
EDIT: adding links to help keep thread on topic.
Because of the number of post not relating to the anima NPC and post specifically on the pros and cons of anima, I will include these 2 links to debate anima itself unrelated to the function of an anima NPC. Please feel free to post in these already established threads as they will be more appropriate to you concerns to anima as a whole.

Also please note, this NPC would not restore anima in anyway, it would just be an optional means of removal for people who want to increase their immersion.
See the problem with this thread- nay, this topic, is just how ridiculous the forum-goers ego is. The forums population, and community, is very, very small. It's just so damn vocal that it appears to be thriving. The majority of players don't even check them, and if they do, they generally avoid posting, because... Well. Ya know. It's crazy.
The idea of adding a function to appease some vocal minority who don't want the option to teleport around, while still maintaining that option for others would only create more complaint threads.
"Petition to have anima removed entirely in lieu of teleport spells."
"Petition to have anima reinstated."
"WTF, all these people are getting drops and enjoying content way, way ahead of me because I have to walk"
People will seriously bitch about anything.
In an MMO, no one person is important. That's right. You. Are. Not. Important. Neither am I. But together, with all of our friends... Now that matters.
The seventh umbral disaster will sever the aetherial stream that allows us to teleport using our energies.
I'd rather Anima be tradeable. If I don't want mine and someone else can't bother walking around then I can sell it to those dirty lazies and casuals that are ruining MMO's. Or if someone does me a favor I can repay them with some Anima.

Hello there Face, this is a Palm, don't be afraid, it won't hit you hard. But you are going to meet in a spectacular manner that makes a sort of... clapping sound, without the need for a second palm!
However, if another palm does show up, don't feel left out, face. See, there's this thing called a 'Double Face Palm' which both palms clap on you! This thread calls for that, so... try and find two palms kay?
I think anima works just fine, it keeps a balance for people who have plenty of time to play vs people who barely have any time. Having an NPC to remove it, well, it sounds like a win-win to me, I just cant understand why having the option to teleport is a bad thing.
Sorry didnt read any of this thread... Why have SE waste time on something so stupid... Don't wanna teleport? Fine. Don't use anima. Its that simple. Asking for this BS idea of a removal npc is retarded
I think the point of the OP was lost on some of you. <.<
