The fix was in the benchmark before that happened, so I doubt that very much.Fwiw, the issue was only fixed because it happened to the SE dev team during a SHB live letter and it caused them a bunch of issues. I assume that whatever fix is in now was enough for their own purposes, so I'm doubtful they'll fix it further without a lot of complaints.
I was having issues towards he end of storm blood. It was rough enough it would lag my game out something awful and my pc would crash. I thought I had a memory leak somewhere, but ever since SHB dropped its been fine. So weird.
UnplayableStation 4 limitations. xD

You have less than no idea what you're talking about. Please, unless you actually have first-hand knowledge of what went on,you need to never offer an opinion on an explanation for fixes again, because it will only seek to confuse people looking for a legitimate answer due to the extremely misleading assumptions therein.
The issues at the Live Letter had absolutely nothing to do with this problem, and was entirely down to their physical hardware setup for streaming. Not to mention that the "fix" for this was in the Benchmark, which was released way ahead of the Live Letter...

Yoshi /facepalm!
That's fair then, wasn't aware of it being in the benchmark as well.
You alright there, bud?You have less than no idea what you're talking about. I use a headset that connects via USB instead of the audio jack.
Pre-ShB it would have a 50/50 chance of crashing my game vs cutting audio if I accidently pulled it out.
Since ShB there's been a few times where my drawing tablet's messed with usb ports or I've pulled the headset out, and the game hasn't crashed yet. Audio still won't swap but at least now if I plug my headset back in, it continues playing rather than cutting out completely![]()
I'm still *way* behind in the MSQ catch up to have experienced most of ShB, but the headphone fix was something I was happy to notice yesterday when I put my headphones in. Sorry it's still messing up for BT headsets.
Now, if they could fix whatever software incompatibility makes XIV the only program on my computer that breaks the back light on my Logitech mouse when it's open and resets my settings so I have to tweak them *every* time I open it, that would be really super cool.
