No, they logged into the site to get their preorder code and expac code. They did not go through the email to unlock the keys (I did the latter because I don't want to change my password again).

I had ordered artbooks and OSTs and the digital downloads of HW and SB from the store before the Shiva statue. But ever since I bought that, it's apparently suspicious to give SE my money. Doesn't happen with any other service related to FFXIV - just the NA Store.
