From previous comments the developers have made, I don't think it's possible with the existing coding. It sounded like you can't just have one person change the music they hear, but have to change the music for everyone in the zone.
I love if they allow us to put a radio outside our estates.
Well, that certainly throws a wrench in things.
The way that it was described by the above person, I would think this could be possible? You know how when you go to towns or misc areas in fields, the music will change? Maybe have the exterior of your estate be flagged as one of these spots and I could see it working.
That's what they did in SWtOR - users who own paid version of the game I believe can go up into the cantina and purchase Jukebox tokens to change it. It's only when you're inside the fleet, but it changes for everyone. Thankfully the song plays only once and it goes away and not many people spam that option, but every time I went in there, I changed it to Cantina's theme and ran around hehe.
Would be cool if it could be implemented one way or another though.
Seeing how mount musics are only played locally, I don't see why it shouldn't be possible to have a "local" orchestrion.
The only problem I'd see with that is that people would over-use it.
I'm guessing this would become another micro transaction to purchase tokens to be able to change the music and maybe some reset timer would be there, like - once an hour someone could do it?
I don't see why it's a problem if people "over-use" it...
It would be a nice feature, just let people use it how they want. It's only playing a music locally after all, it doesn't have any network impact.

I just want to glue my orchestrion onto my mounts ...I doesn't even need to be a playlist, just let me select any of the rolls from my playlist
This is our future. Our story.
I asked this question at PAX East a few years ago when Yoshi-P still showed up. He basically said that their music director would run screaming if he asked him to implement this.
