I am sitting here at work thinking about FFXIV. That has never happened, but I am excited again about the game due to patch 1.21. My question though is, what type of non-battle content should the devs add to the game to help pass the dull times. My thoughts.

1. In uldah, to the left of the Platinum Mirage, there is a door we cant enter. Make that a gambling palor, one or 2 instances were you can play against npcs or at a table with other players.

2. In Gridania, have a archery skills game, maybe 60-80 difficult challenges in semi-1st person mode

3. In LL, since ffxiv doesnt have pvp, add a area where you can battle 1v1, all the current ffxiv monsters.

I just took a 5hour and am all hyped up, sorry if this made no sense. What's everyone else's ideas

PVP is coming and there is talk of a casino type area.

@OP Devs have previously stated we will have:

- more chocobo related content
- a card game(they are still deciding a perfect system)
- PvP arena in Limsa Lominsa(concept art is available in the ffxiv 2.0 revision documents)
- company PvP outdoor arena(concept art is available in the ffxiv 2.0 revision documents)
- gambling(details unknown atm)
- hamlet defense(PvE defense type)

There are more but I honestly don't remember them all
