    It's time to increase drops from extreme

    We have 17 battle jobs now. A ~6% chance to have your weapon drop from the coffer is ludicrous, totems be damned. Savage essentially has 2 weapons drop in the form of an actual weapon alongside a coffer you can use to claim a weapon on any job, not only that, but a Savage weapon only requires 8 kills at maximum, whereas Extreme is still set at 10.

    Can we please increase the amount of weapons that drop from extreme trials from 1 to 2?

    I don’t think that this is such an unreasonable request. Considering the amount of jobs we now have.

    I'd be all for this idea. Even if it runs the risk of slightly making the content "obsolete" faster, it will make more people happier.

    I don't see how that can't be mitigated by the fact the mounts still exist for 99 totems. They could also add the crafting materials and orchestrion rolls for an appropriate amount of totems too. It would keep people running them in my opinion.

    Not like these won't be obsolete by the time Eden, and then later Eden Savage, rolls in. That's why, 2 weeks and then 4 weeks from now.

    Considering how they are handing out coffers that are tied on the job you open them as, they should just make it so the same thing applies for EX drops.

    I think thats going a little far, since it would make getting all weapons a little to fast (remember: we need to get people to re-run this quite often to make sure people who are only reaching the primal days or weeks later will still find a group), but what I'd like to see is an increase of the amount of weapons dropping (from 1 to 2 seems fair) AND a one time amount of 10 tokens from the quest thats tied to the primal - that way they dont have to programm a new primal-coffer but you still get one weapon of choice for your first clear.

    Edit: for nitpicky completion sake though... I dont think the argument "Savage only requires 8 kills" really matters here. As long as the lockout is active (aka: as long as the weapon is "BiS"), it will take you 8 weeks to get those 8 clears. I'll take 2 more runs over that any time if that means I can complete it all in one evening.

    Agreed, the drop rate was fine originally, but we have so many jobs now the circumstances are quite different.

    Nahh they should leave it precisely the way it is. The people that power through the whole game needs something to smash their face on to stay subbed. Meanwhile I am still slowly going through and enjoying every aspect of this phenomenal expansion.

    2 primals, and considering mount drop rate its not uncommon to have to buy it later with tokens, so that is 198 kills total, yeah that is certainly "burning" through content. And then add another 10 tokens per weapon you need that takes it up to around 218 kills, more if you want multiple...I think we have plenty to keep us occupied and they could throw us a bone.

    Also I did enjoy the content, I just seem to have more play time than you. So while I was able to enjoy the journey slowly and take it all in, it was obviously just in larger chunks, so I shouldn't be punished with a grind because I had more time to dedicate over the weekend. It doesn't matter how fast we get there, what matters is how bad it is once you are.
