    It's time to increase drops from extreme

    We have 17 battle jobs now. A ~6% chance to have your weapon drop from the coffer is ludicrous, totems be damned. Savage essentially has 2 weapons drop in the form of an actual weapon alongside a coffer you can use to claim a weapon on any job, not only that, but a Savage weapon only requires 8 kills at maximum, whereas Extreme is still set at 10.

    Can we please increase the amount of weapons that drop from extreme trials from 1 to 2?

    I don’t think that this is such an unreasonable request. Considering the amount of jobs we now have.

    I'd be all for this idea. Even if it runs the risk of slightly making the content "obsolete" faster, it will make more people happier.

    Considering how they are handing out coffers that are tied on the job you open them as, they should just make it so the same thing applies for EX drops.

    I don't see how that can't be mitigated by the fact the mounts still exist for 99 totems. They could also add the crafting materials and orchestrion rolls for an appropriate amount of totems too. It would keep people running them in my opinion.

    Agreed, the drop rate was fine originally, but we have so many jobs now the circumstances are quite different.

    Nahh they should leave it precisely the way it is. The people that power through the whole game needs something to smash their face on to stay subbed. Meanwhile I am still slowly going through and enjoying every aspect of this phenomenal expansion.

    I wish extremes still functioned like they did in 1.x... Go out, farm a set of items that you traded for a key item to even access the fight, it gets used up so you need another to enter again... Adds more work to doing them than just throwing up the party finder and spamming them ad nauseum, which IMO more than justifies a boost in drop rate...

    Honestly they could implement that into the current system still too... Still keep the fights in the Duty Finder, but add in an additional chest at the end if the party meets the condition of having that special key item...

    8 weeks yep because savage is harder and takes 2 months to save for said items. The drops rates on weapons is fine so is doing 10 runs. Used to be no totems and you had to spam more.

    Welp, the other extreme, which drops accessories, drops 4 per kill. Those are also role based, which significantly increases odds of something usable dropping.

    Why is that okay but asking for 2 weapons is not?
