I really have only 1 complaint about Shadow Bringers so far

Well aesthetically speaking anyway. Although after a little adapting I don't have many complaints overall.

But this expac has some of the most stunning visuals and music to date. That being said, when I am making my way through the world, enjoying all the sights and sounds, whenever I get just a lil bit too close to a mob, that battle music, that horrible horrible battle music, kicks in.

We really need an option to disable overworld battle music, like we have with mount music. Especially with this expac, that battle music is just /shudder, did Soken compose it or an intern? It's jarring to go from this tranquil, beautiful music to...that. It makes me yearn for flight all the more so I don't have to hear it, ever again.

While I agree, it feels out of place with the rest of the music, there is an option to disable combat music. Check your sound options and you will find it. Quick and easy fix.

You can disable normal battle music in the same group of checkboxes as disabling special mount music in the sound area of the system config menu

System Settings>Sound Settings>Enable Normal Battle Music>Uncheck it.

You could have done that but instead you made an entire thread to complain about something that a lot of people actually like. Wow.

You can go in to sounds and turned off JUST the overworld battle music. It's saved my ears.

Yeah, this option is already in the game.

I wish we could further refine it to only work in certain expansion areas, because I don't mind the music anywhere else... but I wouldn't get my hopes up too much on that one. Then again, they did sort of let us customize a mount roulette via the favorites system and I wasn't expecting them to let us do that, so you never know.
