More viera hair (And the ability to use modern Aesthetics hair)

It's really sad when Tera, a free-to-play game that has cartoon graphics, can do things with their characters that Square-Enix raking in millions each month on subscriptions alone can't seem to figure out...

I always find myself wanting to go back to Tera whenever I'm complaining about FFXIV.

Some people still think Viera had bunny tails because Fran (FF12) has a piece of armor above her butt that juts out like a rabbit tail and a lot of people just assumed it was a tail.

If the promo pics don't show a Viera or Hrothgar wearing it, assume they can't. Note how the Dirndl's set on the cash shop includes a Viera in the images, because a usable hat is a selling point.

I still say it sohuld had been it's own race inspired by them, like the rest is same with storys revamped to fit the lore and game like Crystal Tower and Xande.Even a franchise has things to stand out, not repeat the same, this is FFXIV after all and not FF the Fanservice game it became lately, look at Nier.

If you have nothing to stand out from your game for a own identity then i ask why i should not play the other FF or Nier games it is from instead. Because then i have the full package there at least and not something halfbaked. FF always had Chocobos and such yes, but it it never was purely based on, it had things stand out, what does define FFXIV tho? The Races? Not really, only the story but then i can watch a movie also about it if you really go deep.

Races maek a game stand out, if people want it or not, played more or less not matters, it can become a thing to stand out, make it noticeable more. People who love FF games already sure already play this, i not see how this was worth it from a marketing point simply, instead of drawing in new players with a race not all games have, including there own franchise and make something new instead.

Because people like me i admit, i choose often games of what you can play, and i am tired of the same Human, Elves, Dwarf mix we have already in every generic fantasy game, FF can stand more out like this, and not just glue some ears on a char and call it a new race. One that not even works with old things like hairs and headgear most the time. I rather had them not include a race at all and as example focus more on dungeons or others, this is what we sacrificed variety for sadly.

Clearly if they refuse to add universal hairstyle options for cats and bunnies then that means they should start adding racial only hairstyles for the cats and bunnies so all the different brands of human can seethe in their own hatred.

I think part of the issue is Miqo'te ears are all the same while Viera ears are different shapes so hats and hairstyles need to account for that.

Not that I disagree that Viera and Hrothgar need some hairstyle love at this point.

How many hair styles, minimum, do you want them to announce for 5.4? At this point it has to be at least 10. When you factor in the fact that they can't wear hats/helmets and none of the bought (with real life money) or in game hair styles.

Then when you factor in that we might not be getting male Viera, I'd move that up to 12 hair styles.
