I guess I'll just sit in the inn and wait for my Receiving to go below 3000.
*sigh*
Thanks everyone~

Also, I was on Balmung from ARR to the release of Titania, and then transferred to Coeurl.
And then I race-changed to a Hrothgar, not to mention I have multiple lvl 60+ jobs XD Heck this forum for being unable to track any of that.
Try leave the ping check running in the background. Check it again when you have those skipping in the game and see whether that time, you encountered some timed out.
Other options. Try a different ISP if you got a friend who would be willing.
Kill all activity on your network but FFXIV.. I mean just modem, router and your PC. Kill anything using the network Chrome Firefox .... Torrents...
See if the issue is resolved. I have 750 down on my cable connection but I don't game on it if I have 200+ connections coming in on it even if I'm only doing 100 down.
Move to a different town somewhere in BC for a faster ping.
I'm lucky, I have DSL and Cable coming into my house because I need to monitor voip services for my work. So they pay for both systems.
But sometimes routing on Telus is having an issue and other times shaw does.
Also having an Edge Router fully managed is nice too.1
