    I agree. global cooldown healing spells feel particularly weak and don't get me started on colective uncounscious. I will probably find a more suitable to post my rant about that.

    I understand they could've gone two ways to make the healers focus more on healing. Either increase the damage coming from the mobs / bosses or nerf heal potency. I understand that is the direction they want to go towards but something is terribly wrong when i feel i need to pop cooldows left right and center to try and keep up with the damage tanks are taking sometimes because my healing spells seem to be of no help.

    Also can we have draw and play as the same button again?

    Also please don't keep it short. Astro has way too many problems right now.

    THIS, i dont get it, they rework all class to get rid of the button bloat, but now they give us 2 button where it could function with 1 button.

    - increase overall healing potency, maybe not flat increase but something feel off with our heal now.
    - divination should have lower cooldown, 180s for measly 6%? what a joke.
    - sleeve draw should automatically draw card for you the moment you press it.
    - celestial opposition cure potency should be higher, the regen took 2s before it kick and in a heat of battle that could be clutch or wipe moment.
    - i take less potency if earthly star become 30s cooldown, many of boss fight require you to keep moving, and that mean away from earthly star area, wasted.

    so many wrong with AST and so many miss opportunity, the new AST card have some potential to be complex yet fun card system. by putting a card seal combination alone, the enjoyment of card can be rise through the roof and they didnt do it. i mean something simple like this....

    depend on your card seal, divination can has additional effect beside 6% increase damage.
    3 same icon = 5% increase crit
    all "blue" card icon = 5% increase skill speed
    all "purple" card icon = 5% increase spell speed
    2 blue/purple and 1 blue/purple = 5% increase def

    and so on, the potential is there, cmon yoshi....

    Came to say the same. There is no reason for Play to even exist. None at all. Rework the mechanic in a way we can save that button.

    We should start a list of things that are clearly made without any previous planification, design process or even testing.

    In terms of healing I like where Astrologian is right now. I'd rather have developers rework the job's identity. So instead of tweaking numbers I believe they should first of all make the job fun again. Playing cards is so straight forward and boringly simple. "Give previousy utility/defensive based cards to ranged DPS, offensive based ones to melees. Convert duplicate seals to lord/lady".

    Also I feel like having one or two AoE heals too many. I'm counting three abilities that all do almost the same thing: Collective Unconscious(weak HoT - so weak it could have been reduced to 10% damage mitigation). Celestial Opposition. Another weak AoE heal - yay. Horoscope - stronger, but still... an AoE heal.
    Earthly Star is a prime example of how to really implement something interesting. In its base it IS another AoE heal, but a very flexible one that benefits thinking ahead and encounter knowledge.
    But stripping Collective Unconscious of some of its HoT potency just to slap it on a 'reworked' Celestial Opposition is just being lazy in my eyes.

    In 4.0 Sleeve Draw could take you around 3-5 seconds to fully use.

    New Sleeve Draw may take up to 10 and you have a limit of 30 seconds to use it before it goes to waste.

    Give the cards straight to Play (or Draw) or even better, just give us 3 different seals and let me burn every single card into minor arcana and save me from this boring mechanic of hunting for seals.

    I had trouble with Sleeve Draw at first too! Then I realized I could just convert all of those cards to lord/lady and not use it for seal collecting at all.
    Now on raid pulls I won't have that luxury sadly. Raid pulls are a completely different matter in itself though, since they will be largely dependant on luck. Not sleeve drawing the correct seals for Divination? Well there goes a huge chunk of raid DPS... at least we'll know who to blame for those 1% wipes then.
