    Changes needed for AST

    I’ll keep it short-

    -Divination needs a 30y radius

    -Play needs to properly queue, so I’m not mashing the f*** out of it to use a card

    -Potency adjustments on all healing abilities or the return of healing potency buffs from each Sect

    -Synastry and other needless nerfs to the job reverted

    Sleeve Draw should give cards straight to Play to avoid wasting so much time drawing/playing cards while my tank dies.

    I agree, this one drives me nuts. Draw is on cooldown so I use Sleeve Draw, look down and see Draw is now off cooldown and it always throws me off because I have to take a second look to see if I hit something wrong only to remember you still need to use Draw.

    This so much! Play just seems bugged really badly. It's not queuing at all. The divination range should just straight up be the old range of an aoe card play

    I’m so glad I’m not going crazy. I’m starting to get really tired of sitting looking like I’ve got my thumb up my ass while in reality I’m just mashing Play because my previous 3 attempts didn’t queue between skills.

    Being a controller player I was already apprehensive over the single cards only change for 5.0. But with the small issues of Play being tedious to work with and sleeve draw meaning I have to get RSI just trying to flick between my party members to buff them, I’m starting to regret my choice in sticking with the class.

    I tested out the newer SCH and it’s oGCDs are so much more powerful than AST and I’m starting to wonder if I should backtrack off AST now and finish story on SCH.

    Even in dungeons I have to spend so much more time using GCD heals compared to SCH just to get by.

    I really like the skill that allows me to put a free shield/regen on someone every 30seconds, that’s fun, but outside that the class feels so weak in both healing ability and damage buffing. I used to enjoy AST but slowly playing the class is just becoming a chore.

    this, what are they thinking a 180s cd for a 6% increase? i can understand if it 10 but 6?

    I feel the same. I have all three healers at lvl 70. I just started playing Shadowbringers and my AST main is only 71 now. I'll get at least one other healer to the level I can do the first ShB dungeon and decide after that what I'll continue doing the MSQ with.

    i agree with all except the potency one. I think its actually a good thing to have more incoming dmg and less ogcd healing. Its the only way to move out of the corner they designed themselves into. We basically have the healer equivalent of a dps killing everything in 1 hit. it was never fun and that what lead to the increase in healer dps so we could fight our own boredom. IMO gcd heals should be more potent than their ogcd equivalents so we can weave small heals during dps time (more on that later) and have our big gcd to deal with bigger hits.

    now on to dps: i think it might be a good idea to increase the costs of heals even more. while giving a sort of mp recovery rotation to all healers. That way we would encourage the heal playstyle we allready have: DPS time, and a burt in heal, followed by another dps time. This could also be redone as some sort of recovery phase, like after a short sprint, when you need to catch your breath again for the next one.

    To your other suggestions: 100% on board with those. especially the range increase on divination.

    Absolutely agree for all of these. Something feels wrong when 3-4 of my healing skills hardly restore over 30-40% to a tank, who continues to have their HP plummet more when playing cards. Some potencies are just outright bad and none of AST's healing skills feel like they have any weight to them. Being able to Minor Arcana while Divination is on cooldown is nice, but the amount of time to crank out Divination for such a short duration of a buff is frustrating. I'm glad it wasn't just me who thought Play was very janky.
