    WHM lvl80 ability Temperance has an insanely random delay

    Since Astro's "Play" ability delay was acknowledged as a bug and is currently being investigated I'm hoping Temperance will get the same treatment.

    When Temperance is used the user get's both buffs immediately, while the party sometimes gets them 4's later.. 2s later.. or instantly. It seems completely random. More often than not the delay is so long that by the time the party gets it, the damage mitigation isn't utilized. I took some small clips to showcase how random it is.

    I use pingzapper and I'm playing on the east coast-primal data center
    None of my other WHM abilities give me a delay (unless clipping myself)

    Using WTfast and being on west coast-primal data center I was having the same delays in and out of combat. Other times would apply instantly but mostly a delay.

    Sounds like the buffs don't apply immediately, but with the next server tick - this was previously the case with Collective Unconscious and a few similar abilities, but was eventually fixed.

    Definitely seems like server ticks at first glance, meaning unless it's ever adjusted to apply instantly, get used to popping it at least 3s in advance for the mitigation.

    Since CU exists and is also centered on the user with its own radius and was also eventually changed to be instantly applied, one wonders why they didn't use the exact same code to apply the effect here, or at least reference the relevant bits.

    Maybe they thought we yearned for the old days of applying stoneskin early enough to take effect but not so early it eats an autoattack...

    The problem is the duration of the damage mitigation is tied to the healing potency buff applied on myself when Temperance is cast. So precasting it 3 seconds early drops the damage mitigation duration by 3 seconds if it doesn't immediately apply to everyone. I'm presuming in savage content there will be large stretches of constant aoe damage going out, so having those extra 3 seconds could be life saving.
